Travel and arrival: Vienna airport, train, transfer, visa
St. Pölten, the capital of Lower Austria, lies about 60 km west of Vienna on Austria’s main east–west railway line.
By plane
The nearest airport is Vienna International Airport (VIE). The transfer from Vienna airport to the Campus is organised by us and included in the price. Send your flight details to team@skn-campus.com after booking.
By train
Arriving by train works just as well: St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof is served by fast trains from Vienna and from Salzburg and Munich. The transfer from the station to the Campus is also organised by us and included in the price. Send your train details by e-mail.
Entry and visa
Austria is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area.
- Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland need a valid passport or national ID card.
- Citizens of other countries should check early whether they need a Schengen visa and apply in good time at the responsible Austrian representation.
- Players under 18 travelling without their parents should carry a consent letter from their parents or legal guardian in addition to their own ID.
You organise your journey to Austria and your insurance yourself; from the airport or the station, the transfer is provided — see price and what's included.
