Frequently asked questions
What is the SKN Excellence Campus?
The SKN Excellence Campus is a four-day intensive football campus in St. Pölten, Austria, held in partnership with the Austrian club SKN St. Pölten. It combines professional football training, athletic training, live and video analysis and seminars, and ends with a trial match against the SKN St. Pölten first team. Sports Excellence University, part of Sports Excellence Group, is responsible for content and delivery; the group's FIFA-licensed player agency can sign participants. SKN St. Pölten provides the stadium and is partner of the event. Doppelweiss GmbH, Hamburg, is commissioned with website, sales and organisation and is the contracting party for bookings.
When and where does the Campus take place?
The current Campus runs from 8–11 November 2026 (Sunday to Wednesday) at the training centre of SKN St. Pölten in St. Pölten, Lower Austria. This is the only date currently offered. Registration closes on 1 November 2026.
How much does it cost?
€6,000 per person including statutory VAT, for all four days and all inclusive. Single, double and triple rooms all cost the same.
What is included?
The full training, analysis and coaching programme, accommodation in your preferred room type (allocated in booking order), all meals and drinks, physio and medical care, kit, a video and photo package, and the chance to qualify for the trial match. The transfer from Vienna airport or St. Pölten station is provided. Participants organise their own travel to Austria, including insurance.
What happens during the four days?
Day one starts with analysis and profiling: athletic analysis, football analysis (live and video), personality profiling and a career presentation. Athletic training covers strength, speed, mobility and recovery, including yoga, physiotherapy and kickboxing. Football training focuses on technique under pressure, 1v1 and street soccer, standout qualities and position-specific game understanding. Seminars cover talent coaching, health and nutrition, mental training, and law and finance for a football career. On the final day comes the trial match against the SKN St. Pölten professionals.
Do scouts attend the Campus?
Yes. Scouts from professional clubs watch all four days, so the opportunity is not limited to SKN St. Pölten.
Is a place in the trial match guaranteed?
No. A place in the trial match against the SKN St. Pölten first team is earned during the four days: the coaching staff selects the squad on sporting merit.
Who can take part?
Male aspiring professional footballers aged 16 and over, in every position — goalkeepers get their own goalkeeper training. There is no upper age limit. Participants must be medically fit for sport. For 16- and 17-year-olds a parent or legal guardian makes the booking; minors are supervised by staff throughout the day. A separate event for female players is being planned.
