Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
No statutory right of withdrawal
Contracts concluded at a distance with consumers generally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal. For services connected with leisure activities that are agreed for a specific date or period, the law provides an exception (§ 312g (2) no. 9 German Civil Code).
The Intensive Week is such a dated sport and leisure service: it takes place on a fixed date (28 September – 2 October 2026) at a fixed venue, places are limited, and a place not taken up cannot be resold at short notice — comparable to a ticket for a dated event. There is therefore no statutory right of withdrawal for this booking.
The cancellation policy below applies instead. It is deliberately designed so that cancelling up to 30 days before the start remains entirely free of charge.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation is possible in text form to campus@doppelweiss.com. The decisive point in time is when the notice reaches us. The deadlines from § 7 of the Terms & Conditions apply:
- up to 30 days before the start: free of charge, full refund
- 29–14 days before the start: 50 % of the price
- from 13 days before the start, or no-show: 100 % of the price
The participant is free to prove that no loss, or a substantially lower loss, was incurred. Naming a replacement participant is possible by arrangement and free of charge for us. If the Organizer cancels the event, the full amount is refunded.
