Guide: how to recognise a serious football camp
Football camps, showcases and trials differ widely. These questions help to compare them — including ours.
Checklist
- Who is the organiser? A company with legal notice, register entry and reachable contact.
- Which club is really involved? Venue only, or coaches and players of the club?
- Are scouts actually present — and on which days?
- What is promised? A serious provider never guarantees a contract.
- Is the price complete? What is included, what costs extra?
- What are the cancellation terms?
- How are minors looked after? Who books, which consent is needed, what medical care is on site?
- What do you take home? Assessment, video material, feedback?
- Can female players take part, and is there goalkeeper-specific training?
How the SKN Excellence Campus answers these
- Organiser and contracting party: Doppelweiss GmbH, Hamburg (HRB 166450) — legal notice
- Sporting partner and venue: SKN St. Pölten; the closing trial match is against its first team
- Scouts from professional clubs on all four days
- No contract guarantee; the place in the trial match is earned on sporting merit
- €6,000 all inclusive — see price and what's included
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start
- Under-18s: booking by a guardian, signed consent form, physio and medical care on site
- At the end: video material, a match analysis and a strengths-and-weaknesses analysis for every participant
- Minimum age 16; minors supervised by staff throughout the day; own goalkeeper training
- Parents may watch the trial match and travel along at their own cost
